How You Can Get Involved
Thrive is a social enterprise by Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa. Our number one goal is to raise money to fund local youth mentorship. There are so many ways you can help us!

Shop at our Merivale Rd. store
Find us at 3–1547 Merivale Rd. in Emerald Plaza, Ottawa.
We add fresh, one-of-a-kind pieces to the floor all the time, so stop by often and see what’s new.

Donate in-store or at our bins
We gladly accept clean, gently used clothing/accessories, household goods and furniture.
Please note: We cannot accept undergarments, and household goods cannot be dropped off in a bin.

Become a volunteer
We’re looking for volunteers to help with sales and inventory in the store. Teens, adults, and seniors are all welcome.

Donate clothing, household goods, and furniture in Ottawa
Thrive Select Thrift is a new Ottawa thrift store powered by Big Brothers Big Sisters. Every dollar of profit goes right back into local youth mentorship.
Give your gently used clothing, shoes, fashion accessories, household goods, and furniture a second life by donating them to Thrive Select Thrift. Please make sure items are:
- Clean and freshly washed (for textiles)
- Free of stains, holes, tears, or significant damage
- In good, usable condition
Clothing, shoes, and accessories can be dropped off at any of our Purple Bins located throughout the city. All household goods and furniture must be donated directly at the store.
